The pattern

OpenAI is moving its models into Google Cloud's Model Garden while Uber rolls out ChatGPT Work to more than 30,000 employees, and ChatGPT Ads passes 100,000 advertisers across 89 countries. The same week, Google Meet speech translation reaches 63 languages and Amazon Polly adds 14 voices across 9 locales, including Hindi and Finnish. These releases do not just add features; they push one vendor's models into another vendor's billing and identity system, put an agentic platform into a company-wide default, and extend ad inventory and speech coverage at the same time.

The smaller updates sharpen that direction. Ollama v0.40.10 adds NVIDIA Nemotron 3.5 Bolt E4B with a 128K-token context window, and v0.40.9 adds speech generation on Apple Silicon plus d3 decision models in 2B, 4B, 9B, and 27B sizes. Vercel ships Kimi K3.1 Pro with a 1M-token context window, CLI spend management with a --pause flag at 100%, per-task Stripe keys valid for up to 24 hours, and build cache size reporting from October 21. GitHub enforces a global default policy through October 26, and GeForce NOW launches Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 with RTX 5080-class performance. The pattern is distribution through existing platforms: OpenAI through Google Cloud Marketplace, NVIDIA models through Ollama, Moonshot AI through Vercel AI Gateway, and a game through cloud streaming.
